- Review the current configuration of the existing Cisco 8540 Wireless Controllers . o These 8540s services 585 Cisco wireless access points . - Development of an implementation plan for two ( 2 ) new Cisco CW9800M wireless controllers to replace the existing Cisco 8540 pair that supports wireless connectivity ( both indoor and outdoor ) across the five ( 5 ) campus locations . - Provide Engineering and Project Management resources to ensure the successful development of a project plan , a highly successful cutover , and guided post - project support . - Stage and upgrade the new controllers to a version compatible with the existing wireless access points ( indoor and outdoor ) across all campus locations . - Ensure that the project Scope includes full configuration , validation and cutover within a single cutover window , along with test and acceptance that demonstrates proper functioning within JJC ’ s environment . - Cutover responsibilities for bidder will minimally involve one ( 1 ) campus location containing eighty - three ( 83 ) wireless access points . - Secondary responsibility for bidder will be to provide guidance and oversight for JJC as its team members handles the cutover of remaining five hundred plus ( 500 +) wireless access points . - Provide practical knowledge transfer to JJC team members within all project phases . - Provide a minimum of two ( 2 ) hours of post implementation support for a minimum of one ( 1 ) campus location . - Provide a minimum of four ( 4 ) hours of onsite training following completion of the project . - Provide practical training and knowledge transfer for JJC team members to ensure customer self - sufficiency following implementation .
