Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . Computing currently provides criminal justice agency ( CJA ) and non - criminal justice agency ( NCJA ) audits in partnership with the CBI . As the CJIS System Agency ( CSA ), the CBI is required by the FBI CJIS Division to conduct CJA and NCJA audits on a triennial basis . The CBI does not have the resources to conduct these audits without partnering with CJIS Ace . The services provided by CJIS ACE are intended for state CSAs requiring assistance with designing and implementing CJIS audit programs . Currently , there are no other providers of these services that meet the needs described above . We have compared pricing from the previous contract with the prices outlined in their proposal and find them to be in line with expectations . CJIS Ace partners with Peak Performance Solutions and has exclusive use of their proprietary CJIS Auditing Tool that processes , tracks and memorializes all audits conducted by CJIS Ace . Since there exists no other provider of this service , to replicate this process internally would far exceed the cost of the service provided . It would also create a void in the current auditing process that would be extremely difficult to overcome with a high liklihood of not being compliant with FBI mandates for audits .
