1 . Initial Deep Cleaning Prior to the start of routine cleaning services , the bidder shall perform a deep cleaning of the library . This cleaning shall include , but not limited to :  Thorough clean and sanitize all rooms including the restrooms  Scrub , clean and / or vacuum of all floors , including edges and corners  Clean interior windows , baseboards , vents , light fixtures , doors ( including door frame ) and high - touch surfaces ( i . e ., door handles , counters , and railings ) that are easily accessible  Clean behind and beneath movable furniture  Dust and clean all surfaces throughout the building 2 . Routine Cleaning Services Routine cleaning services shall be performed twice per week on Monday and Thursday . Services shall include , but are not limited to :  Emptying trash cans and replacing liners  Sweeping , vacuuming , and mopping floor surfaces  Clean high - touch surfaces ( i . e ., door handles , counters , and railings )  Spot cleaning walls , doors , and other surfaces as needed  Dusting furniture , shelving , counters , and other surfaces as needed  Clean interior glass and entry doors  Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures and surfaces 3 . Scheduled Deep Cleaning In addition to routine cleaning services , the bidder shall perform two ( 2 ) deep cleanings each year , with six ( 6 ) months between each deep cleaning
