Minnesota IT Services ( MNIT ), partnering with the Department of Public Safety ( DPS ), intend to enter into an agreement for up to 6 months with DataWorks plus for continued , uninterrupted cloud services referred to as DataWorks Plus . DataWorks Plus , which includes but is not limited to ; support / maintenance services , updates and / or modifications for the DataWorks Plus software used by the DPS . The cloud environment that has been established houses DataWorks proprietary applications and is considered intellectual property due to exclusive ownership rights , titles , patents and trademarks of their products and / or services . The State believes these services are not available through third - party entities , deeming this a sole source . |
