Nyssa School District # 26 (“ District ”) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager / General Contractor ( CM / GC ) services for various capital improvement and facility - related projects over the next five ( 5 ) years . The District intends to utilize the CM / GC alternative contracting method pursuant to ORS 279C . 335 and 279C . 337 . Required findings supporting this alternative contracting method have been adopted by the District in accordance with Oregon law . This is a qualifications - based selection process . No pricing information is requested at this time . Compensation and detailed scopes of work will be negotiated with the selected firm ( s ) on a project - by - project basis . The District may select one or more firms and does not guarantee any minimum amount of work . ANTICIPATED SCOPE OF SERVICES ; Projects may include , but are not limited to : • Cafeteria renovations • HVAC replacements and mechanical upgrades • Roofing replacement projects • Site development and infrastructure improvements • Safety and security upgrades • Other capital or facility - related improvements ; Services may include pre - construction services ( constructability review , cost estimating , scheduling , value engineering , phasing plans ) and construction phase services as CM / GC . All public improvement work will comply with applicable provisions of ORS Chapter 279C , including prevailing wage requirements , bonding , and retainage .
