Description | The project consists of the following elements to reach the ultimate objective of installing , testing , and commissioning of a new Biological Nutrient Removal ( BNR ) System in the Town ’ s Water Reclamation Facility ( WRF ). The project also includes installing new Waste Activated Sludge ( WAS ) pumps and relocating a filter diversion box / structure . Elements of construction include : Creation of a berm / road across high flow storage Pond 1 to create a separate contractor access to the site of work Relocation of the Advance Water Treatment Filter high diversion box from its current location between Aeration Basin B and Secondary Clarifier A to the bank of high flow storage Pond 2 Installation of a new in - ground secondary clarifier flow splitter box with weirs and gates to split flow when both clarifiers are in use |
