Whangarei District Council (Council) is going to the market for: CON24018 Coastal Structures MaintenanceThe process will be a two-staged open market process: Registration of Interest (ROI) Request for Proposal (RFP)This ROI is the first formal step in the process and is intended to be of minimal effort for respondents and allow the Council to create a short list of suppliers to invite to enter the RFP process.Council has a range of coastal assets and structures in coastal areas across the District that require inspection and maintenance on a regular basis to ensure they are structurally sound and fit for purpose. This contract is to provide these services for the benefit of the community.Depending on the structure, material and design of the assets, there will be a requirement for inspections between 3, 6, and 12 months. This detail will be included in the specifications.Delivery of the services:• Scheduled inspections of assets, complete minor maintenance as required and reporting of all required and completed maintenance.• Programmed Maintenance of assets including:o Boat rampso Wharveso Jettieso Pontoonso Stairso Sea wallso Groynes• Response maintenance once approved by the WDC Technical Officer.• Customer liaisonA full list of assets will be available at the RFP stage.
