Disability Support Services (DSS), a business unit within the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is looking for a provider who can deliver the CIP throughout Aotearoa New Zealand to eligible recipients with severe to profound hearing loss. The CIP is a comprehensive whole of life service that involves cochlear implant (CI) assessment, CI surgery, audiology services, re/habilitation services, provision and management of CI devices, and ongoing maintenance and support for recipients.Alongside the provision of clear leadership, coordination, budget and professional expertise, the provider must demonstrate a person-centred approach which focuses on the needs of the person and their family/whānau.The proposed initial contract term is 5 years with an optional renewal of 5 years years (10 years in total) and a proposed start date of 1 July 2026.If you wish to attend the Supplier Briefing Session scheduled for 23 March 2026 via Microsoft Teams, please register using the link in the RFP .All enquires must be submitted through the Q & A function via GETS no later than 5 pm 2 April 2026.Interested suppliers must submit their proposals electronically via GETS by 5 pm 30 April 2026.There are 7 attachments in addition to the RFP:• Request for Proposal• Attachment 1.
