Coffee Co DHR Landscaping Work to be performed per specification COFFEE COUNTY DHRLANDSCAPING AND GROUNDS IMPROVEMENTS1 . PURPOSEThe purpose of this solicitation is to obtain pricing from a qualified supplier to provide landscaping and grounds improvements at the Coffee County Department of Human Resources facility . Existing flower beds are overgrown with weeds and contain dead bushes that have not been growing . Several bushes are unable to be pruned due to damage or deterioration , and multiple small and large trees near the building require removal . The agency intends to clear these areas and replace them with sod and low maintenance landscaping . 2 . SCOPE OF WORKThe supplier shall furnish all labor , supervision , equipment , tools , and materials necessary to complete the landscaping improvements at the Coffee County DHR facility . Work shall include but not be limited to the following : Removal and Clearing • Removal of overgrown flower beds • Removal of weeds and dead bushes • Removal of approximately three small dead trees • Removal of two larger trees located near the building • Removal of existing pine straw and debris • Removal and grinding of tree stumps where applicableBush and Plant Removal • Removal of existing bushes including root systemsSite Preparation • Ground preparation and leveling for new landscaping areas • Installation of fill soil where necessary • Preparation of soil for sod installationSod Installation • Installation of Centipede sod in designated areas • Sod placement in areas where flower beds previously existed or where trees are removedPlant InstallationInstallation of low maintenance landscaping plants including but not limited to :• Azaleas • Cryptomeria shrubs • Magnolia plants • Holly plants • Podocarpus shrubsPlant quantities and locations shall be consistent with the landscaping design and worksheet provided with the project documentation . Mulch and Landscaping Materials • Installation of pine straw mulch in planting beds • Installation of landscaping fabric where applicableIrrigation Components • Installation of drip irrigation tubing where required • Installation of hose bib timer and irrigation fittings necessary for plant wateringFinal Cleanup • Removal of debris • Final grading and cleanup of landscaping areas3 . WORK REQUIREMENTSThe supplier shall perform all work in accordance with accepted landscaping and horticulture practices . Work shall include :• Safe removal of trees and shrubs • Proper disposal of removed vegetation and debris • Proper installation of sod and plant materials • Ensuring all plants are installed and secured appropriately for growthAll landscaping areas shall be left clean and in finished condition upon completion . 4 . SITE LOCATIONCoffee County Department of Human Resources388 County Road 610Enterprise , AL 363305 . SITE VISITA mandatory site visit will be required and will be posted in the solicitation in Alabama Buys . Site Visit will be March 20 , 2026 @ 9am 6 . SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITIESThe supplier shall be responsible for :• Providing all labor , materials , equipment , and supervision necessary to complete the project • Removal and proper disposal of existing landscaping materials • Installation of sod and plant materials • Ensuring proper installation of irrigation components where required • Final cleanup of the project area7 . WARRANTYThe supplier shall provide a minimum one ( 1 ) year workmanship warranty on all work performed . Plant material shall be installed in healthy condition . 8 . PRICINGPricing shall be submitted as a lump sum project cost . Pricing must include all :• Labor • Materials • Equipment • Tree and bush removal • Sod installation • Plant installation • Landscaping materials • Cleanup and debris removalFinal invoicing shall not exceed the awarded contract amount without prior written approval from the agency . 9 . PAYMENT TERMSPayment shall be made in accordance with State of Alabama payment policies . Payment Terms : Net 30Invoices will be processed within thirty ( 30 ) days after receipt of an approved invoice . All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal .
