All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary , and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government . The Government anticipates a 12 month base period with four ( 4 ) 12 - month option year contract . As part of its market research , the Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West ( MRCO - W ) is issuing this Sources Sought notice to identify and determine if there are potential sources which have the capabilities to the lease of one ( 1 ) Chemistry and Immunoassay Analyzer and the reagents / consumables needed to perform the following general chemistry tests : A1C , Alb , ALP , ALT , AST , Bicarb , BUN , Ca , HDL , Iron , K , LDL , Microalb , Na , Phos , and T Bil . Additionally needed to perform the following Immunoassay testing : Ferritin , Folate , FT4 , Testo , TSH , Vitamin B12 , Vitamin D , PSA , T3 Uptake , Cortisol , Estradiol , Free PSA , Free T3 , FSH , LH , Progesterone , Prolactin , and Total T4 . The chemistry and immunoassay analyzer shall be capable of operating in various modes inlcluding continuous , random STAT , and batch specimen . The system shall bi - directionally interface with the electronic health record and with the laboratory information system ( LIS ), as specified in attachment 1 . The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes . This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote ( RFQ )/ lnvitation for Bid { IFB )/ Request for Proposal ( RFP ) or a promise to issue an RFQ , IFB or RFP in the future . This notice does not commit the U . S . Government to contract for any supply or service . Further , the U . S . Government is not seeking quotes , bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this source sought notice . The U . S . Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice . Submittals will not be returned to the responder . A determination not to compete this requirement , based upon responses to this notice , is solely within the discretion of the Government . However , if a competitive solicitation is released , it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry , if applicable .
