Description | Contractor to provide labor , materials , equipment , traffic control , and incidentals to perform substructure concrete repairs on ComEd Bridge No . 168 located on S . Skokie Highway ( US ‑ 41 ) under the Skokie Valley Bike Path in Lake County , Illinois . Work includes selective removal and repair of deteriorated concrete on the north and south abutments , structural concrete repairs (≤ 5 inches and > 5 inches deep ), epoxy crack injection , and installation of epoxy ‑ grouted reinforcing steel as detailed in the IFC plans . All work shall be performed in accordance with IDOT Standard Specifications , Bridge Special Provision 53 , and applicable standards . The contractor shall also implement and maintain maintenance of traffic per approved MOT plans , including lane closures , signage , and protection , and coordinate utility locates prior to construction . |
