Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Lathrup Village , Michigan , as owner , until2 : 00 PM ( EST ), on January 21 , 2026 , at the Office of the City Clerk , 27400 Southfield Road , Lathrup Village , MI 48076 , at which time said proposals will be opened and read . A mandatory pre - bid meeting is scheduled for January 14 , 2026 , at 10 : 00 AM ( EST ), at 27400 Southfield Road , Lathrup Village , MI 48076 . The city is working with Detroit Roofing Inspection Service , which has prepared roof replacement specifications for this project . These documents will be available at the Prebid meeting without a charge . Attendance at the pre - bid is mandatory for any contractor ' s bid to be considered . This will be a complete removal and replacement of all old roofing and replacement with a fully adhered EPDM membrane ; no alternatives will be accepted . The awarded contractor will need to provide a manufacturer ' s labor and material warranty for a period of no less than 10 years , and the approved systems are Elevate or Carlisle only . No substitutions will be considered . No bidder may withdraw its proposal within ninety ( 90 ) days after the date set for the opening thereof . The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids , any part of the same , to waive any irregularities , and to make the award that is in the best interest of the City of Lathrup Village .
