Description | It is the intent of the City of Pine City to solicit a long term , perpetual , full - service maintenance and asset management program , from a provider that will provide integrated maintenance and management services for a water storage tank , which includes : engineering services ( specific to the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing water storage tanks covered by this RFP ), professional asset management , and all inspections related to the repair and renovation services . The vendor shall provide a comprehensive work plan as part of this water tank maintenance proposal . This work plan shall be based upon the vendor ’ s complete understanding of our two existing water storage tanks . The work plan shall include ( but not necessarily be limited to ) the proposed inspections , coatings replacements , repairs , general maintenance , and engineering evaluations necessary to fully rehabilitate and maintain the tanks over the contract term . Additionally , any specific means / methods for handling and disposing of hazardous waste should be explained . References from other clients who had tanks with heavy metals / hazardous coatings may be requested . |
