Description | NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Title: Construction – RCMP Detachment – Gimli, MB Solicitation Number: M5000-21-3194/A Description: The government of Canada requires the construction of a new 770 square meter police detachment in the community of Gimli, Manitoba. This building and garage will be constructed on a serviced lot in the community and will meet all required Security, and code requirements. Briefly listed of requirements are: 1.Building construction 2.Site works include: i. Site clearing, ii. rough and finish grading, iii. landscaping iv. Building site access, v. Roads, sidewalks, pedestrian and vehicular pavement structures, vi. Site lighting, fixtures, fittings, fencing and gates vii. Connection to municipal / local sewer, water, power, telecommunication infrastructure 3.Ancillary structures including: i.Separate garage building ii.Radio Tower 4.Geothermal heating and cooling systems 5.Mechanical and electrical systems and site services connected to municipal services 6.Complete mechanical system operational and maintenance services for a one- year period commencing at substantial completion. i.Schedule two post-commissioning visits coinciding with peak seasonal heating and cooling dates. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31st, 2024. This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation. There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
