NHDOT is searching for a contractor ( s ) to assist in service and / or repairs of Off - Road equipment as needed , determined by NHDOT Mechanical Services staff . Up to two ( 2 ) contracts may be awarded in two categories as outlined below . 1 . Construction Equipment 2 . Agriculture type equipment REPAIR PROCESS • Upon completion of the required repairs and scheduled maintenance , the Contractor shall ensure all system error codes have been cleared then notify the Bureau of Mechanical Services . • The Contractor shall provide an itemized invoice comprised of all parts / supplies stated in the repair estimate plus actual cost , ( cost billed to the state ) to complete authorized repairs . There may be times when the ‘ actual labor cost is less than the estimated labor cost . • For in - state vendors , in the event the equipment requires transportation to the Contractor ’ s place of business for repair , NHDOT shall provide Transportation of the unit . NHDOT may elect to have the Contractor transport the equipment if they agree to the transportation price quoted by the Contractor prior to movement of the equipment .
