Description | a . WCPS will utilize this service as needed , based on the enrollment of students whom WCPS identifies as candidates for service . b . WCPS requires a comprehensive trades program that includes , but is not limited to : • Provide a 15 - week program for students attending WCPS high schools during the school year • Provide a 6 - week summer program for students attending WCPS high schools • Provide a program that will be at minimum 3 days a week from approximately 9 : 30 am - 2 : 45 pm • Provide service to all students ( General Education , Students with Disabilities , Multilingual Learners , etc .) who are 16 and above . • Provide a training program in which students are eligible to earn the National Center of Construction Education and Research at a minimum in the following areas : Excavators , Skidsteer , and Forklift . • Provide instruction for students to complete either the OSHA 10 and / or OSHA 30 safety training . • Provide a dedicated instructor for the class . • Offer training to students in person . |
