Construction Manager at Risk Services - 2025 FACILITIES MASTER PLAN PHASE 1

The College intends to contract for Construction Manager at Risk ( CMAR ) Services for new construction and renovation projects on JCCC ’ s main campus . The College will utilize the “ AIA A133 - 2019 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor as modified by JCCC .” Anticipated construction cost for these projects is approximately $ 70 . 9 million . JCCC , at its sole discretion , may use the selected Construction Manager for additional building upgrades that are not directly associated with the listed projects . All projects are contingent upon the College securing sufficient public and / or private financing to pay for design , development , construction and renovations . The architect of record on these projects is PGAV Architects - Westwood , Kansas . All the buildings will be located on the JCCC main campus located at 12345 College Boulevard in Overland Park , Kansas . The Phase 1 Facilities Master Plan Projects include the following building projects : 1 . A new 60 , 000 SF Healthcare Education Building located in the vicinity of the existing Science Building and the Classroom Laboratory Building ( CLB ). 2 . A new on - ground Observatory with a 500 SF building located south of the Train Parking Lot ( Y12 ). 3 . A new Outdoor Classroom Amphitheater with tiered seating for 100 people and supporting technology and shade structure . The Amphitheater will be located on the southwest side of Haun Hill . 4 . A new West Parking Garage with approximately 250 stalls and a West Central Chiller Plant to handle the buildings on the west side of campus located northwest of the GYM Building on the GYM Parking Lot ( B22 ). 5 . A new 9 , 000 SF Athletic Building for the outdoor sports teams located southeast of the Concessions Building and a renovation of 5 , 000 SF of the existing GYM Building .
