The Town of Severance , Colorado (“ Town ”), is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms toprovide professional services for Construction Management , Inspection and Materials TestingServices for the construction of the Great Western Trail Connection between E . Harmony Road andWeld County Road 23 . Construction will begin around April 2026 with a concrete trail along the Great Western Railroadbetween E . Harmony Road and Weld County Road 23 , including two short connections to twoculdesacs at 1st and 2nd Avenues and two roadway crossings with rapid flashing beacons at E . Harmony Road and Weld County Road 23 . An alternate bid item includes glow stones ( highperformance glow in the dark stones ) within the concrete substrate . The project is partially fundedwith State and Federal grant funds . See more
