The Work includes but is not limited to, the supply of all labour, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the Work as shown or as inferred by the Contract Documents. In general, the main items of work covered by this Contract include but are not limited to the following: .1 5,000m of 1,200mm diameter watermain along Williams Parkway within a mined tunnel by Tunnel Boring Machine..2 Excavation for and installation of three (3) valve chambers and two (2) air release chamber of varying diameter, geometries and functionality in accordance with applicable Region of Peel standard drawings and requirements, inclusive of electrical equipment and other related appurtenances..3 Open Cut InstallationPREQUALIFIED GENERAL CONTRACTORSThe following General Contractors/Bidders have been prequalified for this project in accordance with the most recent Prequalified List from prequalification document 2024-510PQ:C & M McNally Engineering Corp.Erritt Construction LtdMcNally Construction Inc.Southland Mole of CanadaSTRABAG Inc.Technicore Underground Ltd.Ward & Burke Microtunnelling Ltd.The Agency will only accept Bidder Submissions in response to this Request for Tender from the prequalified firms stated above. Any Bidder Submissions from Bidders not on the most recent Prequalified List from Document 2024-510PQ, as stated above, shall be deemed non-compliant and not considered for contract award.The bid document will be posted https://peelregion.bidsandtenders.ca when available.
