Description | Purpose This Request for Proposal ( RFP ) is to solicit competitive proposals from experienced and qualified experts in the field of forest mensuration and statistics to consult with CARB staff and provide timely input on questions from CARB staff on topics related to the statistically sound quantification of forest metrics , including questions related to sampling strategies , data collection , data processing and classification , as well as statistical analysis and inference . Scope of Work The objective of this contract is to ensure CARB has timely input from experts in the field of forest mensuration and statistics for the purpose of evaluating forest offset projects for compliance with the Cap - and - Trade Regulation and Compliance Offset Protocols . The Contractor shall evaluate and respond to questions from CARB staff on topics related to the statistically sound quantification of forest metrics , including questions related to sampling strategies , data collection , data processing and classification , as well as statistical analysis and inference . |
