Description | The study aims to facilitate investments for the creation of added value and formal jobs in wood value chains at industrial hubs or special economic zones in the Congo Basin. The study will include mapping and quantitative analysis of the magnitudes, trends, and flows of the main wood products in terms of volumes, values and jobs generated in the Congo Basin. The analyses will also entail looking at the constraints and opportunities for strengthening existing and/or developing new value chains and cross-border processing zones, the development of a strategic roadmap that highlights national and regional priority projects for future desirable outcomes. |
