Description | a ) Most residential and small commercial lots will require hand mowing . The lots shall be cut to a height not to exceed 3 inches . All lawn areas must be mowed . ( b ) Cut vegetation up to the street pavement , including any adjacent ditch area or right - ofway area . ( This includes any area between the property line and the curb or street pavement line of any adjacent street or alley whether improved or unimproved .) Cut vegetation in ditch as low as possible . Trimming should be done around any tree , shrubbery , utility pole or other obstruction located in these areas . ( c ) Trim work is required on all residential and commercial properties . This includes areas along fence lines , foundations , walkways , lawn statuary and any additional trim work indicated on the work order . ( d ) Grass clippings must be removed from all residential and commercial lots after mowing . Raking is not required if contractor is using a good performing mulching mower . |
