Description | The City ’ s cooling tower gear reducer requires replacement . The Contractor shall remove the old gear reducer and fan assembly . The Contractor shall supply a new gear reducer and reinstall with the existing fan assembly . The Contractor shall be responsible for supplying the crane and rigging crew to complete the removal and installation . The City shall handle disposal of the old gear reducer . TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS : The old gear reducer is the Marley Series M34 . 2T , with M2 output shaft . The new gear reducer shall have the same compatibility and capability as the old gear reducer at a minimum .
