The selected vendor shall provide a turnkey school safety solution including design , equipment , installation , training , and ongoing support . The solution must include integrated systems supporting the following safety functions : Access Control System ; The district requires an electronic access control platform capable of managing building entry points . System requirements include : • Electronic door access control • Credential - based entry • Scheduled door unlock capability • Remote lock / unlock capability • Audit trail of door activity • Integration with video surveillance system The system must support multi - building management from a centralized interface . IP Intercom and Paging ; The district requires a modern IP - based intercom and communication system supporting daily operations and emergency communication . The system must be Wahsega IP Intercom System or approved equal . Legacy analog intercom systems will not be accepted . Intercom System Architecture Requirements ; The system must meet the following minimum architectural requirements : • Fully IP - based communication platform • Individually addressable IP endpoints • Operation over standard Ethernet networks • Power over Ethernet ( PoE ) • SIP - based communication protocols • Distributed architecture without centralized amplifier racks Systems relying on traditional analog paging amplifiers or centralized controller hardware shall not be considered acceptable .
