Description | The successful firm will provide MCIA with legal guidance relating to , but not necessarily limited to the following : 1 . Legal research and / or issuance of advisory opinions as needed ; 2 . Drafting of resolutions and / or ordinances ; 3 . Representing the MCIA in assigned litigation in Federal and State Courts and administrative forums ; 4 . Reviewing and / or drafting contracts , bid specifications and legal notices ; 5 . Attend monthly MCIA Board meetings and participate in other meetings and calls if / as needed ; 6 . If / when necessary , attend meetings of the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners and / or Commissioner Committees and other agencies , boards , commissions , and departments upon request ; 7 . Notifying the MCIA of changes in applicable law or state regulations , as well as Court decisions , that impact the MCIA ; and 8 . Any other matters as directed by the MCIA . |
