Crestwood Government Center Vestibule Security Project

The project consists of interior renovations of two ( 2 ) office suites within the Crestwood City Hall , at 1 Detjen Dr ., Crestwood , MO 63126 per the construction drawings and specifications . The work includes demolition of existing walls , flooring , and ceilings to prepare for construction of new bullet resistant barriers at the City Clerk and Public Works departments . The City Clerk Office is located on the main level of City Hall , and the Public Works Department is located on the lower level of the building . The bullet resistant barriers consist of metal stud walls , bullet resistant panels , bullet resistant transaction windows , new doors , and new casework desks , in addition to new interior finishes . Rework of existing electrical and mechanical systems will be required . See drawings and specifications for more information . City Hall will be occupied during construction , and GC must coordinate with the City of Crestwood to determine limitations of construction including but not limited to construction hours , security , safety of the public and city employees , site access , quiet ( non - construction ) hours , etc .
