S - 41 ( 2051 ) HAUL ROADS MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION INITIAL 03 / 28 / 25 The provisions of MnDOT 2051 are supplemented by the following : S - 41 . 1 The Contractor shall not use any City Street as a haul road unless approved by the Engineer and City . S - 42 ( 2104 ) REMOVING PAVEMENT AND MISCELLANEOUS STRUCTURES INITIAL 03 / 28 / 25 S - 42 . 1 Add the following to 2104 . 5 , “ Removing Pavement and Miscellaneous Structures , Basis of Payment :” Sawing of sidewalks needed for removal will be included in removal pay item . S - 43 ( 2104 ) REMOVE CONCRETE STRUCTURE S - 43 . 1 DESCRIPTIONThis work shall consist of removing the concrete between the sheet pile as shown in the planset and directed by the Engineer . Existing tie bolts are present between the two sheet pile sections at approximately 22 ” on center . S - 43 . 2 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS The concrete identified in the plans and directed by the engineer shall be fully removed . All sawcuts to produce a clean edge shall be considered incidental to the work . The removed material shall become property of the contractor and shall be disposed of in accordance with section 2104 of the MnDOT Standard Specifications for Construction . S - 43 . 3 METHOD OF MEASUREMENT The Engineer will measure by the planned cubic yard of concrete removed . S - 43 . 4 BASIS OF PAYMENT The Contract Unit Price for Remove Concrete Structure is compensation in full for equipment , materials , and labor required to complete the work . The County will pay for Remove Concrete Structure on the basis of the following schedule : Item No .: Item : Unit : 2104 . 507 Remove Concrete Structure ................................................................................. cubic yard S - 44 ( 2104 ) REMOVE SHEET PILING S - 44 . 1 DESCRIPTION This work shall consist of removing the sheet pile as shown in the planset and directed by the Engineer . S - 44 . 2 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS The sheet pile identified in the plans and directed by the engineer shall be fully removed . All sawcuts to produce a clean edge shall be considered incidental to the work .
