The University of Colorado Boulder seeks to retain various architectural , engineering , and consulting ( AEC ) firms for as - needed AEC professional services in support of University ’ s departments of Planning , Design and Construction ( PD & C ), Housing Services , and Facilities Management Small Construction . The intent of this as - needed program is to provide expedient professional services on small projects . The University of Colorado Boulder anticipates issuing Requests for Qualifications within the next three months . Selected firms will be engaged for as - needed services on various Controlled Maintenance , Deferred Maintenance , Capital and Non - Capital projects where fee will be less than $ 100 , 000 . This program will not preclude procurement of services where fee is less than $ 100 , 000 by other approved State procurement processes .
