Description | The purpose of the program is to identify and evaluate the condition of the DOT - HWYS approximately 980 underground culvert crossing , identify potential safety and structural problems ; and to maintain a system of reporting to assist the DOTHWYS in maintaining an effective asset management system for the repair and maintenance of the culvert crossing inventory . The consultant ’ s scope of services for this project shall include , but not be limited to , the following : The level of inspection detail shall be sufficient to provide the DOT - HWYS a structural assessment of its culvert crossings . The inspection and assessment reports must be presented in such detail as to clearly relay the critical information necessary for DOTHWYS personnel to schedule and budget maintenance and repair tasks . The consultant may also prepare plans , specifications , estimates and other documents for construction projects and / or cleaning of culverts as directed by DOT - HWYS . |
