Custodial / Cleaning Services

The selected Contractor shall provide custodial services for the following facilities : Base Scope Facilities • City Hall • Department of Public Works ( DPW ); The following tasks represent the minimum required service frequency unless otherwise approved by the City . Vendors may propose additional services . The City expects all listed tasks to be completed during each scheduled service visit unless otherwise approved . Areas or tasks may not be skipped due to time constraints or staffing shortages . The Contractor may be required to maintain a service log documenting dates and times services were performed . Restrooms ( Each Service Visit ) • Clean and sanitize toilets and urinals • Clean sinks , counters , mirrors , and fixtures • Replenish supplies ( supplied by City ) • Empty trash receptacles ; Locker Rooms and Showers ( Where Applicable - Each Service Visit ); Facilities containing locker rooms or showers shall be cleaned and disinfected using appropriate cleaning products designed for high - moisture environments . Cleaning shall include : • Disinfecting shower stalls and fixtures • Cleaning and sanitizing locker room floors • Removing soap residue and moisture buildup • Maintaining sanitary and slip - resistant conditions ; Trash Removal ( Each Service Visit ) • Empty waste receptacles • Replace liners as necessary ; Floors ( Each Service Visit ) • Vacuum carpeted areas • Sweep and mop hard surface floors ; Public - Facing Areas ( Each Service Visit ); Special attention shall be given to public - facing areas . • Department counters remain clean • Interior counter windows / glass are free of smudges , dust , and debris ; General Cleaning Duties The following tasks shall be performed as needed to maintain facility cleanliness : • Dust accessible surfaces and furniture • Clean entryways and interior glass • Maintain overall facility cleanliness
