The requested equipment has the capability of being deployed and utilized from a vehicle , a backpack totable by operator or support personnel , and installed into a fixed station for sustained operations . No other system has been located dim market research nor peer research with the same capability without having to procure multiple different systems to obtain the same capabilities . The modularity allows maximum effectiveness while reducing initial costs , maintenance , and training due to only requiring a single unit for all three necessities . The operating software within the equipment is designed to integrate and work with a commonly utilized critical incident software known as ATAK . ATAK is the software utilized by the FBI for counter UAS operations and agencies across the nation are beginning to adopt . This is also the software students who attend the FBI Counter UAS System Operator Course must utilize . The ability to integrate and communicate with this software is an operational requirement as most deployments at large scale events will require inoperability between multiple agencies to include Federal agencies down to local municipalities .
