Description | 1 . Remove existing flooring and casework . 2 . Surface Preparation o Prepare ceiling and wall surfaces as required for painting including patching , sanding and priming as required . 3 . Flooring o Install new flooring . 1 . The District seeks a durable , resilient flooring system suitable for a preschool classroom that can withstand daily use from chairs , toys , and active students . The flooring must provide cushioned underfoot comfort for safe play , sitting , and floor - based activities , while offering slip resistance , sound reduction , and ease of cleaning . Proposed flooring solutions should be continuous , noninterlocking surfaces ( e . g ., sheet goods or glue - down planks / tiles ) and represent a cost - effective approach that balances performance , safety , and maintenance . 2 . Final color of flooring to be determined by the Owner at post bid meeting . 3 . Bidder should include in their proposal a color palette to choose from that will be allowed within the cost of the proposal . |
