Description | Georgia DOT is seeking to contract with a Design - Builder to provide services for the design and construction of a new bridge approximately 1 , 441 - foot - long , 55 - foot - wide offset 40 feet west of the existing alignment along SR 25 / US 17 / SR 99 / N . Walton Street at the Darien River . The project will maintain twolane , two - way traffic during construction by first building a portion of the new bridge , shifting traffic to it , then demolishing the old bridge and completing the remaining span . The corridor covers approximately 0 . 5 mile and includes a shared - use path and sidewalk ( the Project ). |
