Description | The purpose of this contract is to provide the DCTC with consistent , clear , and accurate traffic volume , classification , and speed data on designated roads as well as non - motorized ( pedestrian and bicyclist ) volume data on designated walking and biking facilities . Our traffic count program covers about 800 traffic count stations , many of which are counted on a threeyear cycle . Approximately 200 counts are conducted annually , including non - motorized ( pedestrian and bicyclist ) counts . In addition to recurring counts , the program also may include project - specific or specialcounts based on our planning needs . See more |
