Description

The London Borough of Bromley and the Southeast London Integrated Commissioning Board (SELICB) will be undertaking the recommissioning of the Dementia Post Diagnosis Support Service (Dementia Hub). It is a comprehensive support service for people who have been diagnosed with Dementia, their Carers and the professionals who support them. The Service aim is to improve health and wellbeing, reduce and/or delay the need for costly or intensive services by delivering support in the community. The Dementia Post Diagnosis Support Service is an established pathway from the point of diagnosis to the point when a person becomes eligible for statutory services. The Service is jointly commissioned by the Council and SELICB. The Council intends to tender for a new service contract which will be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to two years commencing on 1 July 2027. The Council and SELICB will be holding a providers’ engagement event on 2nd November 2026 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM via MS Teams. The aim of the event is to engage with current and potential delivery providers and inform them of the Council’s Commissioning approach and shape the service delivery model.
