Description | The selected consultant ( s ) shall provide all professional services necessary to complete each project , including but not limited to : 4 . 1 Preliminary Engineering • Review existing data , studies , and as - built drawings • Conduct site visits and field investigations • Conduct traffic studies • Conduct needed surveys • Develop preliminary and final concepts • Participate in coordination meetings with Whitfield County and , if applicable , GDOT 4 . 2 Final Design • Geometric design of intersection improvements • Traffic signal design where applicable • Construction , signing / marking , ES & PC , staging , ROW , and signal plans • Drainage , grading , and pavement design as applicable • Utility coordination and conflict identification • Right - of - way exhibits , if required 4 . 3 Plans , Specifications , and Estimates ( PS & E ) • Bid - ready construction plans • Technical specifications • Engineer ’ s opinion of probable construction cost 4 . 4 Bidding Support • Provide complete construction bid documents • Respond to bidder questions • Provide clarification during the bidding and construction phases , if requested • Review and approve contractor material submittals |
