Specifications San Bernardino County , by and through its included Sheriff / Coroner / Public Administrator ( Sheriff ), is seeking qualified Proposers to furnish security glass , in quantities ordered at times needed , to be used throughout the Sheriff ’ s Type II Detention Facilities . Location ( s ) where products are to be provided :  West Valley Detention Center – 9500 Etiwanda Ave ., Rancho Cucamonga , CA 91739  Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center – 18000 Institution Rd ., San Bernardino , CA 92407  Central Detention Center – 630 E . Rialto Ave ., San Bernardino , CA 92415  High Desert Detention Center – 9438 Commerce Way , Adelanto , CA 92301 Detention Center security glass shall include the following key features and functionality : A . 1 Glass shall be free from foreign substances and air pockets . A . 2 Glass - Clad Polycarbonate Security glass shall be glazed with Secure - Tem + Poly ® – Glass - Clad Polycarbonates , which combines the abrasion resistance of glass with impact resistance of polycarbonate . A . 3 Gray Tint Heat Treated Glass The glass shall be solar gray , 62 % to 65 % light transmission , Type I , Class 3 , Quality Q3 , heat treated glass . Glass shall not be delivered with more than 1 / 16 ” variation in size from product ordered .
