<b><i>Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/docsroom/documents/40287" target="_blank">intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. </a> </i></b><br></br>The overall objective of the contract is to capitalise, amplify and further formalise the new DG REGIO’s Communication strategy for external borders cooperation through supporting cultural collaboration initiatives between the Balkans and the EU. The contract will primarily support imaginative cultural initiatives, mainly in Sarajevo, Zagreb, Brussels and in the Western Balkans, that reinforce awareness about the EU macro-regional Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) and the ETC across external borders with the candidate countries, their values (centred around diversity, equality and inclusion) and their work and the idea of Europe as a shared public space from a regional and cross-border perspective. In addition, this action should also enhance cultural cross-border mobility, creating innovative models of cultural cooperation on an equal footing between EU and Balkan cultural stakeholders and building connections with other cultural change-makers across Europe.
