The State of Queensland (acting through the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning) is offering private sector proponents with relevant experience and capability the opportunity to express interest in developing, and becoming the long-term lessee of development sites within the Village Centre North precinct at The Spit (Gold Coast, Queensland), and an adjoining seabed area.This opportunity is the first waterfront mixed-use tourism-hospitality-focused and marina development opportunity released to the market by the State following release of The Spit Master Plan in May 2019.  This opportunity, responds to a range of master plan outcomes for the Village Centre North precinct.Responses in respect of the whole of the precinct or any part of the precinct will be considered.  We are calling for proponents that can demonstrate experience in the development and operation of projects of a similar nature and scale to that proposed for the precinct.Please note that the closing time and date is at 4:00pmQueenslandtime on Thursday 2nd April 2020.For detailed information on the specific goods / services sought under this tender, please review the "Specification Documents" in "Section 3 - Here is the detail".
