Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . The Department of Mental Health ( DMH ) has contract CS231818001 with Everspring , LLC for Developmental Disabilities Pharmacy Services - SLDDTC and BHC . The DMH is currently implementing a new Electronic Health Record ( EHR ) system , which will go live May 1 , 2026 . This contract extension would allow the DMH to provide uninterrupted pharmacy services for its clients until the implementation is fully complete , including system testing . It is not feasible to utilize resources to conduct a new procurement process for Developmental Disabilities Pharmacy Services for SLDDTC and BHC at this time , because the new EHR system will impact how the contractor performs pharmacy services for DMH clients . The developmental disabilities pharmacy services are only available from Everspring , LLC , the current provider , because the need to consistency is imperative as DMH implements the new EHR system and because discontinuation of services would provide a disruption of services . The one - year extension of CS231818001 will allow sufficient time for the DMH to ensure the new EHR system is operational . In addition , the one - year extension will allow the DMH to properly prepare the scope of work to conduct a new procurement process of establishing a new contract for Developmental Disabilities Pharmacy Services . For the reasons identified above , Everspring , LLC is the only feasible source from which to acquire the Developmental Disabilities Pharmacy Services for this interim period until the new EHR system is operational . As a result , this meets the criteria as a single feasible source under section 34 . 044 RSMo .
