A . CAL FIRE will collect and hand - deliver water samples to Contractor ' s laboratory . Water samples provided by CAL FIRE will be delivered to the Contractor ’ s laboratory in a timely manner to allow for the appropriate holding time of the sample ( per industry standards ). B . The coordination between CAL FIRE Project Representative and Contractor to process samples must be in compliance with industry standard sample and testing time frames . Test results shall meet all existing time frames and notifications per existing SWRCB DDW regulations . Testing methods and procedures shall be in compliance with water quality testing processes outlined in Title 22 , California Code of Regulations ( CCR ), California Safe Drinking Water Act & Related Laws and Regulations . C . Contractor shall be responsible for reporting the analytical results to State Water Resources Control Board ( SWRCB ) Division of Drinking Water ( DDW ) electronically using electronic data transfer and shall forward results to CAL FIRE location within existing required regulated notification time frames and as directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative . D . Contractor ’ s laboratory testing location must be a maximum two ( 2 ) hours one - way drive from 2300 Country Road 74 , Alturas , CA 96101 . E . Contractor shall be available for water testing 24 hours per day , seven ( 7 ) days per week if the needs and conditions warrant or emergency testing is required and at the request of CAL FIRE Project Representative . F . Contractor shall email and mail the test results to CAL FIRE Project Representative within one ( 1 ) week of test sample delivery , unless otherwise directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative . G . Contractor shall immediately call CAL FIRE Project Representative to notify of positive test results . If a positive test result is reported , a duplicate sample will be collected and delivered by a CAL FIRE Project Representative and re - analyzed by Contractor within 24 hours after initial sampling . H . Emergency testing may be required immediately based on any unforeseen plant operations . Continued sampling will occur until State regulations are satisfied . This may include , but are not limited to , changes in SWRCB DDW ' s testing requirements , retesting , supplies or reporting requirements as directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative . Re - testing , additional or emergency testing will be charged at the same rate ( s ) specified on Attachment 1 , Rate Sheet .
