Description | II . Objective The purpose of this service is to assess , develop , communications management programs , internal communication programs , and culturally informed communications . The service will focus on enhancing public awareness of DHS services , maintaining public media relations , and fostering public trust . III . Scope of Services The CONTRACTOR shall provide the following service activities , in close collaboration and approval with the DHS Director . A . The CONTRACTOR shall : 1 . Be established in Hawaii and fully capable of providing readily available services within the State . 2 . Have verifiable experience in providing public relations and communication services within the State of Hawaii . 3 . Available to meet in person with the DHS Director and the Director ’ s Office staff at least once per month , contingent upon the availability of the DHS Director and the Director ’ s Office staff . |
