1 . Purpose Calhoun Community College is seeking proposals for procurement and delivery of digital radiographic imaging equipment representative of current industry digital technology . This equipment will support the new Radiographic Technology ( RT ) program laboratory for use of hands - on student learning activities . The RT program will provide education , clinical training and certification exam preparation for an in - demand healthcare career . RFP Specifications Introduction : Calhoun Community College is seeking proposals to provide new , unused digital imaging system equipped with exposure - producing capabilities and advanced image processing software . This fully integrated radiography system should be representative of current industry technology . The proposed equipment includes : • Equipment : Two ( 2 ) fixed digital radiography systems and one ( 1 ) mobile digital radiography system • Software : Advanced image processing features , including exposure dose reporting and spinal imaging options . • Services : Onsite training ( with optional virtual training ), ongoing technical support and software updates . RADIOGRAPHY LABORATORY EQUIPMENT ONE : DIGITAL X - RAY EQUIPMENT X - Ray Equipment Specifications : • Definium 656HD Gen 6 system w / Standard Arm Wall stand & Premium Table or equivalent . Two ( 2 ) independent systems will be purchased . o Overhead Tube Suspension ( OTS ): Ceiling mounted OTS including rail / cable management configuration , 5 - axis motorized movement ; supports both automated and manual operation . o Overhead Tube Console : Multi - functional touch screen console with full acquisition workflow functionality for in - room control . Integrated 3D video camera for live - streaming capabilities o Wall Stand : Standard digital arm configuration with tilting wall panel o Elevating Table : Standard digital 8 - way movement to include rear foot pedal controls o Wireless Detectors : High resolution to demonstrate detail structures . Options to include : 14x17 with rechargeable battery . o Table & Wall Stand Grid : 40 in ( table ) and 40 - 72 in ( wall stand ) capable of being removed . o Image Processing Software : Capable of exposure dose reporting and demonstration of exposure indicators . Advanced options for spinal and long bone imaging . o Applications Training : Onsite training upon installation ; option of virtual training . o Ongoing Support : Customer support , applications assistance , issue resolution , and software updates . • AMX Navigate Mobile Digital Radiography unit or equivalent . One ( 1 ) mobile unit will be purchased . o Telescoping Column : Free motion , multi - directional movement o Digital Monitor : Touchscreen user interface o Wireless Detectors : Size options to include 14xl 7 , 10x12 ; Option for detectors to be shared across compatible fixed radiography system . o Applications Training : Onsite training upon installation ; option of virtual training . o Ongoing Support : Customer support , applications assistance , issue resolution , and software updates
