This RFP has three ( 3 ) optional service elements : Data Port Installation and Activation , Electrical Circuit Installation , and Digital Signage Screen Installation . Service Providers may respond to one , two , or all three parts . Preference will be given to Service Providers who can perform multiple or all three operations . 1 . Data Port Installations and Activations ; Provide installation and activation of all necessary data ports to support Info Station connectivity . See “ Attachment B – Info Stations Location and Installation Map ”. Services include , but are not limited to : 1 . Installing , connecting , and / or verifying data , audio , and video connections , including cable . 2 . Installing data cable to desired location . 3 . Installing data port in desired location . 4 . Activating data port and verifying network connection . 5 . Coordinating with colleges , schools , departments , contractors , or units to ensure functional installations . 2 . Electrical Circuit Installations ; Provide installation of dedicated electrical circuits as required for powering Info Stations . See “ Attachment B – Info Stations Location and Installation Map ”. Services include , but are not limited to : 1 . Installing , connecting , and verifying power connections , including electrical lines and outlets . 2 . Coordinating with colleges , schools , departments , contractors , or units to ensure functional installations . 3 . Digital Signage Screen Installations ; Provide the physical installation for digital signage screens across WVU ’ s main and satellite campuses . See “ Attachment B – Info Stations Location and Installation Map ”. The current screens are Samsung DM48 or Samsung DM55 and will be provided by the colleges , schools , departments , or units at the University . Services include , but are not limited to : 1 . Installing and mounting digital signage displays ( monitors ), enclosures , or custom video walls ( ADA - compliant ). 2 . Connecting data , audio , video , and power connections . 3 . Coordinating with colleges , schools , departments , contractors , or units to ensure functional installations .
