Description
Description | ( DOS ) is an Army organization sited on Fort Novosel , Alabama . DOS plans , coordinates , implements , and manages live , virtual , constructive , gaming ( LVCG ), and Mission Command ( MC ) efforts that support Institutional Initial Military Training ( IMT ), Professional Military Education ( PME ), and select external training readiness requirements . DOS executes its critical training support mission from two separate facilities ( Bldg 5440 and Bldg 5101 ) which together house in excess of $ 500 Million worth ofsimulation and simulator equipment as well as associated network and communication architectures . The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein . Such contract Service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who , in turn is responsible to the Government . The Contractor , in turn , shall be accountable to the Government for Contractor or subcontractor personnel . Period of Performance is from 1 May 2026 to 1 May 2027 . |
