VENDOR REQUIREMENTS : Proposals failing to meet the minimum specifications as defined below may be deemed nonresponsive : • Identify , document and inform the District of all applicable codes , laws , statues and safety requirements . • As requested , provide a comprehensive bill of materials , technical design document , schematic and pricing for each location . Once approved , implement the agreed upon design . • The contractor shall coordinate with the authority having jurisdiction ( AHJ ) for the exact emergency responder systems and frequencies required in Knox County . • The required Public Safety Radio Signal Level must be determined per code or in consultation with the AHJ . • Any permits necessary for the installation share be obtained prior to the beginning of work . All permit costs and inspection fees shall be included as part of the required work . • Fully support the implementation , including scheduled maintenance , upgrades , break / fix , etc . • Hours of work to be completed M - F between 7a - 7p to minimize disruption to student learning . 4 . 6 STYSTEM REQUIREMENTS : Proposals failing to meet the minimum specifications as defined below may be deemed nonresponsive : • The entire system shall meet with approval of the Knox County Fire Prevention or other authority having jurisdiction ( AHJ ). • System must have 2 independent power supplies . One of which must be connected to a battery backup system capable of supplying power for a period of at least 24 hours .
