REQUIREMENTS Equipment • 1100 – student chromebooks Minimum Technical Specifications : o 11 . 6 ” HD display ( non - touchscreen ) o Memory : 4gb ram or greater o Hard Drive : 32 GB SSD / Flash or greater o Intel N100 processor or newer – Intel processor will be preferred over MediaTek o 802 . 11ac or better o Webcam o 2 USB Type - A ports and 2 USB - C charging ports o ChromeOS – Auto Update Expiration ( AUE ) date of June 2033 or later ▪ * This date does NOT include Google ’ s extended updates support . • 1100 – Clear hard shell cases o The case must allow the asset tag to be viewable & scannable while installed o The case should protect the top & bottom of the device Licenses • 1100 Google ChromeOS Management Licenses Services • Approved Logo Skin on top lid of the device o Design must be approved by the District o No larger than 3 ” x 3 ” o The District can provide a copy of its current logo skin upon request • White Glove Configuration o Chromebook enrolled into District ’ s Google Admin Console , preferably using ZTE o Chromebooks moved to proper OUs as determined by the District • Green Delivery o Chromebooks must have the cases & asset tags preinstalled and be in green delivery packaging . • Asset Tagging o Asset Tag must be visible while case is on o Asset Tag number should be the device serial number o Asset Tag should have the serial number printed out o Asset Tag should contain a barcode of the serial number o Awarded vendor must provide an example asset tag & case for approval o Awarded vendor must provide an inventory spreadsheet Warranty • Standard Manufacturer ’ s Warranty • 4 year Extended Warranty Coverage AND 4 year Accidental Damage Protection ( ADP ) • Vendors should explain how they manage warranties and device repairs ( in house or third party ) Substitutes • Brand and model substitutions will be considered . Subject to the approval of District designee . Additional Requirements • All costs to Farmington R - 7 School District associated with the RFP must be included in the bid . • All device , service , warranty , shipping , and licensing costs must be listed as separate line items rather than a single flat cost per device .
