Description | The bidder , if approved by the Board , may be used for district wide Institutional Network using Dark Fiber in a star topology with the Tech Center / High School as the hub of the network connected to six elementary schools , the middle school , the SAU54 office , and the city for security and financial system access . Requirements are a minimum of two strands of fiber ( one for transmit and one for receive ) to support the current 10 GBPS connections using S / C connections for insertion into our Aruba / HP switches using single - mode fiber technology . We also require centralized billing for all services provided . Please provide specifications for all associated equipment and services . To be in compliance with ERate funding , we will accept bids for both leased lit fiber and dark fiber installations . |
