The Department of Natural Resources & Conservation ( DNRC ) Air Operations Division is seeking to procure the following item ( s ): Helicopter Auxiliary Fuel Systems ( IAFS ) Tank ( Qty . 3 ). SPECIFICATIONS Purpose for Supply : Internal Auxiliary Fuel Systems for a UH - 1H Huey “ MT - 205 ” DNRC State helicopter . Description of Supply : Critical features the product must have to meet agency requirements are listed below : Must be three ( 3 ) brand new and in never - used condition Auxiliary fuel tank systems . Must be designed to fit in a UH - 1H Huey Helicopter Internal Cargo Area . Must be crashworthy in accordance with ( IAW ) MIL - DTL - 27422 standards . Must be self - sealing and consistent with MIL - DTL - 27442 standards . Fuel cell must be compatible with Jet A , Jet A - 1 fuels IAW ASTM D1655 Standards . Installation or removal time must be under 15 minutes . Must have average usable fuel of 74 gallons . Fuel transfer pump must be controlled from the cockpit . Must have Over - the - Wing gravity refuel option . Empty tank weight and restraints must be less than 125 pounds . Current available products that meet the above standard is the Robertson Huey Tank Assembly Internal Auxiliary Fuel System ( IAFS ) part number HM018 - 010 - 21 . However , this does not indicate a restriction to or acceptance of only this brand .
