Double Deck System must be specific to fit a 2025 FORD TRANSIT 148 low with a Bulkhead installed . Must be able to transport either four cremation containers , four cots , two air trays , or two caskets . Double Deck System needs to fit a standard and over - sized cot side by side on both upper and lower deck with a 600lb capacity on the upper deck . Must have an upper deck safety latch that prevents the upper deck from dropping if both powered actuators fail . Must have recessed cot cups - Cast aluminum cot cups which prevent stretchers from shifting during transport . Upper deck must be powered to be able to raise and be lowered within seconds allowing one person to easily load and transport . Double Deck must utilize the full capacity of cargo space with a 50 . 5 " upper deck and a 51 . 9 " bottom deck . Upper Deck Capacity – 600 lbs . Minimum Wheelbase Required – 140 inches The unit must be able to accommodate the following Mortuary Cots . Ferno : Model 23 , 24 , 24H , 24 MAXX , 24H Mini MAXX
